CHAPTER NEWS
The President’s Message is going short this month. How did May get here so soon? I thought Daylight Savings only jumped ahead one hour, not a couple of weeks! Here are the happenings for May.
Sutter Hospital Construction Tour - Save the Date!! Laura McArthur (one of our new Board Directors you elected) has set up our May 3 tour for the Sutter Hospital construction at the Wells Fargo Center. The program will include both a presentation and a site tour. Look for the formal announcement coming our way, but here’s what I understand now. Tours in groups of 15 will start at 4:30, the presentation at 6:00. Multiple tours will allow time for those from near and far to participate. Sign up early because the presentation room has a capacity limit of 50. Besides the particular seismic standards for hospital construction, this project has had to contend with all the new storm water regulations and a host of traffic and transportation challenges, including ......
