Please join us for an evening discussing the needs, benefits, strengths and potential weaknesses of these two upcoming rail projects, both of which you have read about or have seen on the evening news.
Program Speakers:
Mayor Deborah Fudge – SMART Board Member
Deborah Fudge is currently the 2012 Mayor of Windsor – serving as Mayor for the fifth time in the annual rotation of Town Council members. Deb has served on the 12 member Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit Board since 2005, and as chair during 2010. She presently sits on the SMART executive board and her current SMART board involvement is to ensure accuracy and clarity of the various issues surrounding the implementation of the SMART rail system.
Presenting for the California HSRA project:
Dominic Spaethling – Regional Manager - CHSR
Dominic Spaethling is a Regional Manager for the California High Speed Rail Authority responsible for the oversight of the San Francisco to San Jose section of the 800 mile statewide high speed train system. Dominic is also a Senior Project Manager and Vice President with Parsons Brinckerhoff in their San Francisco office.
